Alessandro Bianchi Tailors – Intro

We started work on our first demo website, an online store, on Friday the 9th of April. It took a total of 21 hours from start to launch. Researching, designing, and developing the website.

The online store is an Italian menswear outlet with multiple categories & sub-categories. With only seven products to demonstrate our work. The websites features secure payment options such as PayPal, Visa, MasterCard etc.  A custom logo, countdown timer, newsletter subscription box, a location map in the footer, social icon and much, much more.

The Process

Firstly, we started by researching similar websites in the same niche. Took some notes on what seemed to be a common layout used in the industry. We wanted to go for a bespoke and classy feel to the website.

Then we started our hunt for high-quality images that were fit for purpose. Finding multiple images of one product proved to be a slight challenge. But we like a good old challenge here. The next step was designing the logo. We went with a simple minimalist look.

Now we had the content and images it was time to start sketching up ideas. Then creating wireframes in Adobe XD. This would be where our clients can make as many design changes as they want. Within reason, of course.

Then it was time to begin development. We use WordPress + WooCommerce with various other plugins to achieve the best results. Its easiness to edit, add and remove products makes it our top choice for software.

Finally, we spent the last few hours going over the website with a fine-tooth comb. Making sure everything was working as meant to.

Then it was ready for launch.
